What’s wrong? Hungover again?

Yes. You say that so accusingly, you know that? This time wasn’t to drown my sorrows. I was just out with a friend and…I have a really low alcohol tolerance.

Sorry, I didn’t mean it. I’m actually kinda jealous. I never got a chance to get drunk when I was human and get a hangover. Did you have fun?

Don’t be. It’s one of the worst things in the world. You feel like you just want to stop functioning, but someone’s still trying to restart you. Well the first half of the night was great. Until I went back to Fangtasia, then it all went down hill and I’m pretty sure all men hate me now.

You went to Fangtasia? And you didn’t tell me? What happened…?

Going to New Orleans (Mod Plot)

thevikingnorthman:

vampirejessica:

thevikingnorthman:

Eric had made it to the airport in less time than he previously believed he would. He could have simply flown there; flying through the sky would have saved him minutes of time, but he was unsure if Bill or Jessica could fly and he didn’t want to be rude for once. Flying took practice, but once a vampire mastered it it was much easier to get around than on foot.

They had made it to the tarmac just as the headlights of Alcide’s truck flashed on the waiting vampires. The trio did not have to worry about taking the path of the roads, they could run in a straight path through the woods. Eric waved an arm in an arching motion towards the truck, the windshield was dark but with his enhanced vision he could make out Alcide and Sookie sitting inside the cab. Eric turned his attention to the jet in front of them, being the King must have its perks. He felt himself roll his eyes slightly. Although he had come to respect Bill as his superior, a part of him would always have an issue with authority.

Casting one last glance over at the truck, Eric followed Jessica up the small set of steps into the plane’s cabin. He was not nearly as impressed as Jessica was; Eric had traveled by plane specifically designed for vampire use before. Settling his tall frame into one of the seats, he turned warily towards the excited redhead. “When it gets too close to dawn, we will have to,” he answered her question quietly. Eric was never big on sleeping in a coffin, too chliche, but he would have to do it when the time came. It was a much better option than risking the bleeds. He vaguely wondered how long it would take them to reach New Orleans by plane, probably no longer than an hour. That would give them enough time before dawn to be able to get in the coffins and be transported safely when they landed.

“Ugh,” She said, thinking it must be so weird and annoying for the humans to have to carry their big coffins with them inside once they landed. She didn’t want to be a burden…and an attention-seeking one at that. She shook off the thought as she took a seat next to him. Soon enough, Alcide and Sookie clambered in behind them and took their seats as well. They too were taking in the beauty and luxury of the plane, Sookie in particular. Jessica guessed she’d never been in a plane like this before, maybe never in one at all. They could relate in that aspect, but she wasn’t about to get all conversational and nice with her. Just out of spite, Jessica leaned over Eric to look out the window. She didn’t have to, but she knew the move might upset Sookie. Plus she didn’t mind being closer to Eric. He was the only one she could really rely on and who had experience and knew what he was doing…Jessica liked having that around.

Once they were boarded, she saw the outside move out the window. They must be moving. She suddenly snapped back into her seat and gripped the sides. Was she actually scared? She’d always wanted to do this, and she was sure she had faced much worse in the past, so it seemed ridiculous to fear a little plane ride, and yet, she found herself unable to look at the window as she felt them ascend, even though she was really curious. To distract herself, she looked at Sookie and Alcide, who were staring at the window. Alcide was actually holding Sookie’s hand, and from her face, Jessica almost picked up a trace of annoyance. She smiled to herself and looked ahead, finally feeling the plane level out.

She turned to Eric. He looked as stoic as ever, but he did look thoughtful. She immediately felt embarrassed for being scared. “Been on a few plane rides before?” She tried to ask casually, hoping that maybe he didn’t notice.

Eric snickered a little bit at Jessica’s annoyance at eventually having to crawl in their coffins for the day. No doubt when they arrived in New Orleans it would be getting dangerously close to dawn, and they had to take extra precautions. If Russell’s people found out that they were on their way, no doubt human spies would take note of the plane’s passengers, and possibly even try to kidnap Jessica and Eric while they were in their coffins. Going into Russell’s territory was extremely dangerous for all of them.

Already bored with the flight, Eric fiddled with the small set of overhead lights and the tiny fan that sent a small blast of cool air down on him. Plane’s catered to vampire travel usually were very nice, even if they had to have a large back compartment to store up to a dozen or so coffins. This particular plane was only a jet, so there was just enough room for the two coffins and a few other seated passengers.

As discreetly as possible Eric tried picking up on any emotional triggers from the trio sitting around him. Obviously he could not pick up on anything from Jessica because she was not his progeny, nor had they shared a blood bond. Alcide was kind of difficult to read because he was a were, and it usually took much practice in order to sense their emotions without them actually putting it out there. Sookie however, he could pick up on a bit over the emotional silence in the cabin. She was not necessarily nervous about the plane ride, but she did fear for her brother. She also enjoyed being in such a nice plane for the first time, but she seemed unsure about all three of her fellow passengers. He stopped himself from picking up anymore.

Slowly, Eric turned his attention to Jessica who was sitting beside him. He knew she had been a little tense while the plane was ascending; he did not have to be able to read her emotions in order to determine that. He nodded, “yes, but it has been quite a while. Vampire-catered planes have come a long way,” he stated.

“I’ve never ridden in a plane before…let alone a vampire one,” Jessica admitted, taking in its detail. Even the seats were super luxurious. She watched Eric as he adjusted himself to get comfortable. He didn’t seem half as worried as she was sure the rest of them felt, she guessed it was because he didn’t really have any direct connection to Gen and Jason…she rolled her eyes when she caught him staring at Sookie. She figured it would never end, no matter what happened. She felt a little awkward, sitting next to him, having been with him even though he was obviously still crazy for Sookie.

As much as she thought about bringing it up, she didn’t want more drama. Stressing out about Gen and Jason and what could possibly face them in Mississippi was bad enough. The thought made her uneasy, especially when it was daytime and they’d have to just trust humans. At least Alcide and Sookie were there to keep them safe…though she could see Sookie maybe being happy with letting her coffin ‘accidentally’ slip away…but she knew that couldn’t really happen. She wrung her hands. “What do you think’s gonna happen when we get there? Russell’s obviously gonna want something if we wanna get Jason and Gen back…any ideas? Have you even heard from him since you cemented him?” Jessica had given this a lot of thought, and she couldn’t help but think of that horrible phone call she had made a while back when she was furious with Sookie. She’d regretted it ever since, it wasn’t her place at all, but surely they would’ve just come for Sookie and kept it clean and quiet? Not take Jason and Gen then make them go all the way to Mississippi…or would they? The thoughts were killing her, and every time she felt the slightest bit of emotion from Jason she was both reassured and guilt-tripped…was it her fault? She thought about telling Eric, but she knew he’d probably kill her right there if he found out she sold out Sookie. Plus she wasn’t even sure if all this really even did have anything to do with her, so she didn’t want to risk it.

Going to New Orleans (Mod Plot)

thevikingnorthman:

werewolfalcide:

All Alcide could do in response to Bill tossing that body into the woods was quirk his eyebrow curiously. He quietly hoped the vampire king would come back and actually get rid of the body the properly. Having a dead body randomly pop up in the woods around Sookie’s house. He was sure he would have someone do it for him as soon as he found his sister. Even so, he made a mental note to come back himself. Just to make sure. Snorting to himself, he fetched the keys to his truck out of the pockets of his jeans and opened the door for Sookie to climb into the passenger seat. She was small. She would need him to get up into the large truck.

Glancing between Bill and Sookie, awaiting a response to his question, he couldn’t help but smile to himself when she chose to walk away from the vampire and head quickly for the truck. Giving her a hand, he shut the door once she was in and strode quickly around to the driver’s seat. “4th runway. Got it. We’ll be there.” Alcide said simply before getting into the truck and roaring it up. Placing his arm on the back of Sookie’s seat, he turned his body around and slammed onto the gas, backing out of her driveway quickly. Turning back around, he slammed on the gas again and began to drive down the dark Bon Temps strip of highway. He knew he ought to say a few comforting words to Sookie, who looked tensed. But he decided that getting her quickly to the jet would be better.

And for that, he needed to pay attention to the road ahead of him as he sped considerably over the speed limit. He could only pray that a cop wasn’t hiding in the trees, waiting to give out tickets. On the outskirts of town, a small airport was situated. It was usually only used by business people. If a regular person around these parts wanted to travel, they would have to head over to Shreveport. Getting past the security by telling them he was ‘here with William Compton’, he sped quickly down the airport until he saw the large number four on a small plane garage. The truck came to a stop and died down as he took the keys out of the ignition. After helping Sookie out, the both of them made a quick dash into the garage, immediately spotting the three vampires. “Lets go, then.”

Jessica loved the freeing feeling of the wind in her hair and all around her body as she zoomed towards the small airport outside of town. She had never really ran this far this fast, as much as she’d wanted to, there had been no reason for it. Now there was, however, and it only made the run all the more exciting, even though she hated to admit it. She wondered how fast she was really going, and how long it would take Alcide and Sookie to catch up in the car. Just as she felt like she was possibly the fastest creature alive, her hopes were dashed as she felt the whoosh of air as Eric sped past her. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes. He would do that. Then again, he was centuries older than both herself and Bill…but whatever. She tried her best to catch up, but no avail, which just frustrated her even more as she watched him take off. She had to admit, he did look beautiful…he looked like he was almost flying. Could he do that? Could vampires do it? The thought struck her like a ton of bricks. Could she fly?

Jessica mentally slapped herself in the face at thinking of something like that when her aunt was in danger. It was cool and exciting, but it was definitely something she shouldn’t be thinking when she had bigger things to face…like Russell Edgington. The thought of him sent chills up her spine, but before she could think any more about it, she felt concrete beneath her feet and she slowed down. She looked around, quickly realizing she had inadvertently followed Eric to the airport runway. She hoped she hadn’t been staring too much. She glanced around, sure enough, she could see the headlights of Alcide’s truck approach them. Maybe she hadn’t been going as fast as she thought…she made a mental note to improve that  later, as well as to test her possible flying capabilities. She suddenly realized Bill was right next to her, and it startled her for a slight second. She wondered if she’d seen her staring…but she mentally slapped herself again. THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN ERIC’S ASS, she desperately thought.

As Alcide and Sookie approached them, she was eager to get onto the plane. The less time around Sookie the better. She climbed up the stairs, hoping it wasn’t rude since Bill hadn’t exactly “invited” them on yet, but she figured it wasn’t a big deal. and after all, she was his progeny. She looked around, and couldn’t help but drop her jaw. It was big and spacious and beautiful, with six large seats and several tables. In the back, however, there were three large, yet padded and comfy-looking, coffins. Jessica rolled her eyes. So they would have to sleep for the plane ride since it would go into the daytime. Jessica had never ridden in a plane, or in a travel coffin for that matter, but she had wanted to be able to look out the window from the sky. As the rest of the group followed in, however, she decided not to complain. “So…we gotta ride in those?” She asked, pointing to them. The thought was strange, riding in a coffin…she never had really accepted the fact that she was dead, but she figured it was for her own safety. Just the thought of the horrible burning feeling from the sun made her squirm.

Eric had made it to the airport in less time than he previously believed he would. He could have simply flown there; flying through the sky would have saved him minutes of time, but he was unsure if Bill or Jessica could fly and he didn’t want to be rude for once. Do I owe anything?

If both Sookie (is she still gonna be gone) and Alcide are gone, shall we carry the mod plot to Russell’s ourselves?

Yeah. At least for a little while, we dont need to go far without them, but at least we’ll have more going on…

And I think it’s Jason’s turn for the bad guys’ plot, so whenever he gets a chance…

Eric, what do ya sayy? You and I can have a good guy partayyy

Yeah, I can handle that. I guess since Jess and Eric are going to be on the plane together it makes sense for them to para together vamp-to-vamp for a while before they actually get to Russel’s

let’s dooo itt! :D
